H TREE MARKS THE SPOT

"There is a story in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, of a tree in the shape of an H. It is actually two trees side by side connected in the middle. It's astonishing, really. The story goes that there are three H trees in the world and they all mark the gateway to hell. The tree stands on top of a twelve-foot-tall cliff, and the story is that if you walk under the middle of the trees and around the trunk of one of them six times and jump off the cliff, the ground will open up and take you to hell. The tree was knocked down during construction, and homes were put up. I certainly wouldn't want to be the family who lives in the house that was built over the tree."-Jeff, Lansdale, PA
