There is a tree in Somerset County, New Jersey, that is said to be visited by the devil himself. It's is the only tree in the field near Mountain Road. Many attempts at cutting it down have been unsuccessful. Those who have tried, it is said, has met with an unexpected demise. The locals say it is cursed and that there have been many murders and suicide near there.
The tree has the marks of axes and saws where they have tried to cut it down. Why they haven't been able to is a mystery, but it is said that it is a doorway to hell and is protected by someone or something in a black truck that will pursue you and then just disappear.
