"I'm just a ghost in this house
I'm shadow upon these walls,
As quietly as a mouse
I haunt these halls."
- Allison Krauss, Ghost in This House
"Stull had two major tragedies in the 1900s. The first is about a small boy whose father was burning a field of tall grass. After the field was burned, the charred remains of the boy were found. The other tragedy was of a man who was reported missing and was later found hanging from the limb of a tree.
I have heard many rumors involving the church, but here are a few that have been consistantly repeated: If you take two bottles and make the sign of the cross with them, when you throw them against the church wall, they will shatter. However, if you make and upside-down cross, the bottles will not break no matter how hard you throw them!

Perhaps the most frightening rumor involves a set of stairs, believed to be located somewhere around the church, that are the true gateway to hell. According to different stories, the mystery stairs are underneath the rubble inside the church or back behind the church or in the cemetery in front. One rumor says that if you go down them, it will take two weeks to get back up, although it will seem like just a few moments. I have heard that some unknown force seems to pull you as if to drag you all the way down."-Adam Schafer
